How can you support your child?
|There will be maths and English work sent home – please ensure that your child completes this in the time given. If there are any problems, please do let us know.
Please can you encourage your child to read at least 4 times a week and sign your child’s planner. Ask them questions about what they have read – get them to use clues (to infer) from the text.
Your child will have received a spelling overview for the term. Each week, we will be learning a new spelling rule and we suggest the children continue to practise this rule at home.
Times Tables are so important for much of the maths the children will complete in Key Stage 2 and into secondary school. Encourage them to play Times Table Rockstars.
