Parent Focus Events
Termly the school holds Parent Focus Events for parents across all year groups. All parents are welcome to come along!
These Focus Events concentrates on topics which are of most importance and requested to be discussed by parents.
This page is dedicated to any presentations used during meetings - so parents can access and read at their own leisure, if unable to attend the event in person.
Parent Focus Event 1 - Friday 15th September
Focus - Yr R / 1 and 2 Continuous Provision Meeting. Parents from these year groups are invited along for a meeting with our EYFS Lead - Mrs Hunt. At this meeting Parents will find out about Continuous Provision, how this is used in class and the benefits of such learning!

Parent Focus Event 3 - Wednesday 21st November
Focus - CDC (Contract Dining Catering) Food Taster Event! Parents invited along to taste a variety of hot food options and desserts. CDC was also available to answer any questions parents may have around the food available to children.

Parent Focus Event 4 - Wednesday 31st January
Focus - Yr 6 SATS Parents Meeting. Yr 6 Parents are invited into school to meet with Miss Boaks / Mrs Boffa. At this meetings Parents will get a good insight on how the SATS are ran, any expectations during these testings, how parents can support the pupils and how we can support YOU ALL!
Parent Focus Event 5 - Wednesday 7th February
Focus - Yr 4 Multiplication Meeting. Yr 4 Parents are invited into school to meet with Miss Boaks / Mrs Boffa. At this meeting Parents will get information on the Yr 4 Multiplication Testing, and how we can support pupils during this time.
Parent Focus Event 6 - Thursday 25th April
Focus - Yrs 1 & 2 Phonics Screening Check. Yrs 1 & 2 parents are invited into school to meet with Miss Fishlock and Mrs Cave. At this meeting Parents were given all the necessary information to help support their children with Phonics Screening Tests.
Parent Focus Event 7 - Tuesday 21st and Friday 24th May
Focus - Yr 5 parents. Secondary School Admissions 2024 - for 2025 entries. Year 5 parents are invited into school to meet with Mr McLean. At this meeting Parents will be given all necessary advice / support and information on how to apply for secondary school places.
