If you would like to know more about our SEN provision please read the school Send Policy & Information Report 

If you have a concern about the support your child’s receives regarding special educational needs then initially please contact the class teacher for a meeting.   After which, meetings can be arranged with the SENDCo or Headteacher. There is also a complaints form within the complaints policy, located within the policy section of the website. The Medway SEND Local Offer Website

The SEND Local Offer is a resource which is designed to support children and young people with special educational needs and / or disabilities and their families. It describes the services and provision that are available both to those families in Medway that have an Education, Health and Care Plan and those who do not have a plan, but still experience some form of educational need. The SEND Local Offer includes information about public services across education, health and social care, as well as those provided by the private, voluntary and community sectors.

Intervention And Therapy

At Hoo, we recognise the additional needs of our learners and we offer a range of therapies to meet these needs. We have a fully qualified  Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SALT), and a fully qualified Occupational Therapist working on site across the week.  If parents have any concerns about their pupils progress and wish to discuss this further please contact Mrs J Gallacher, SENDCo or Mrs K Speller, SENDCo, The Marlborough.
